Crazy Hair

This week at school the kids had crazy hair day. This is what my kids hair looked like. Jaxon decided to go as James Bond. I think he doesn't know what crazy hair is. Phebe just wanted pony tails all over with hair pretties. She definitely knows what crazy hair is.

Scappoose Trip

We were able to go down to Scappoose while Brian's brother and his family were there. It was so fun being with them and their little girl, Karlee. The kids loved playing with her. We got to have a little Christmas with them and with Grandma & Grandpa. Grandma & Grandpa gave Jaxon a red ryder bb gun and Phebe a Fancy Nancy Doll. Jaxon did not put down his gun for 2 days. Whenever we are at Grandma's house, Phebe has to fed Dexter carrots. She got her wish. This time she let Dexter eat from her hands.

Brian's Birthday

The kids decorated Brian's cake. I like how they make you do math to figure out how old Brian is. Phebe was really into giving presents to her Dad. She gave him a lot of gag gifts. She wrapped up some of her toys, some tinker bell pencils from her stocking and a card that actually said I love you, Dad.


Brian turned 35 this month. He asked for a tool box. This is the tool box that my Grandparents gave him. My Grandparents made a funny. They were laughing so hard. Brian did get a bigger tool box from my parents.

Spelling Test

Phebe took her first spelling test a couple of weeks ago. She got 11/10. Since then she has had two more spelling tests and has gotten 100% on both of them. We're so proud of her. Maybe Phebe will be like Jaxon and be a spelling whiz. She is loving Kindergarten. She is one of the top readers in her class and she can even write better then Jaxon. She can count and write to 100. She is having a blast learning. It looks like we have two smart cookies in our family.
